Corto "Abducido" - Pixar

Lifted, a short directed by Gary Rydstrom in 2006 was in the cinema with the film Ratatouille.

The short takes place in a farm in the country, where a spaceship arrives to lift an asleep farmer.  In the spaceship we can see two aliens: the student and the teacher. The director wants to show the relationship between the teacher and the student. The student tries to lift the farmer but he can’t and the poor man knocks against the walls and the floor in the room. Finally the teacher takes the control and lifts the man. But the student is sad, and the teacher let him to take the spaceship’s control. But then the spaceship falls down and crushes the farm. At the end of the short we can see that the farmer is saved but maybe a little afraid...

I like this short because I love aliens. And the ones in the short are very funnies and their faces are so cute.

Halloween

Halloween from Ainapastor

This photo was taken by my family when I was six years old in Tunis. It shows the sunset in the middle of the desert. 

My parents,  my sisters and I were in a trip in the desert when we took this picture. In the trip to Tunis, we started visiting the city. We stayed in a hotel with a swimmingpool. That night, we slept in a tent in a camp. We wake up very early before the sunrise because we wanted to see it. We spent the day visiting the desert with a jeep and we finally saw the sunset and took the picture. 

In the picture you can see the sun hiding behind the sand dunes. The colors of the sunset there are brighter than here. The nights are darker in the desert because there isn’t any lights from the cities. So the sun is really shinning there.

 I chose this photo because I really like the emptiness in the desert. For me it’s shocking to see a place with anything at all. Here in the city we are used to see lots of things everywhere, so I liked to experiment a diferent way to see a place with light and colours.
